We loved staying at Coco Unlimited. We think the pricing was appropriate for the quality and the place was beautiful. It’s small so you don’t have a ton of people and you are right on the beach. Breakfast was also included and delicious!

Just clean beds and clean and clean bathroom. Do not expect more like refrigerator and other amenities in the room. Breakfast is not provided for Kids even if we have kids on the reservation. Overall a good accommodation just to go and sleep during the night stay.

Location was perfect. We stayed in the master suite which had our own hot tub on the deck, totally unobstructed view of the ocean. It was very magical. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will stay here again!

My boyfriend and I stayed her for a wedding in Tulum and were impressed! Front desk staff was helpful and kind. It was beautiful property and our room was right on the water. Only complaint we had was the food wasn’t great but it was so close to other places we just walked to get our meals! Definitely would stay here again.

Gorgeous and loud
It's a gorgeous place, right on a beautiful stretch of beach. The staff are amazing. The rooms are stunning and the bed is super comfortable. A couple of things leg if down - mainly the noise. Tulum is a very noisy place which I guess appeals to many but I specifically picked this hotel because a review says if was quieter. It is quiet by 1030pm thankfully but ALL day there is loud music at the pool and bar and it clashes with loud bassy music from next door. Not very relaxing and no one seemed to be enjoying it TBH! Also surprised no soap or shower gel in the bathroom but the honey shampoo and conditioner were divine. The restaurant is expensive but food ok. The breakfast is excellent.

Posting this as heads up that you will not get much sleep if you stay at coco tulum. First, the club music is very loud from the right side of the property. Second, the barking from the lot to the right of the property is insane — sounded like we were beside a dog pound. When we brought this up to the front desk, they agreed with us that the barking was crazy and it’s because these dogs were abused and abandoned… which makes hearing this noise so much worse knowing these poor dogs are barking in distress. Initially we were told they would hold the empty room on the other side of the property for us, but with no updates we returned to the front desk to be informed that a woman happened to book the room right after we requested and she showed up instantly…. so nothing was done on part of the property. We were offered a complimentary cocktail, but when checking out was charged for everything (not that a free cocktail does much after 3 days of little sleep). The views were nice and the breakfast was good, but the main purpose of a hotel room is to sleep. The food was also very expensive compared to other beach clubs visited. I come to mexico about 3 times a year and this is my worst experience to date, there are much nicer properties available with the opportunity to actually sleep. If you want to stay here, make sure to not stay on the right side of the property.

Deluxe Suite Oceanfront. This place was excellent. Room was basic with no mini fridge, but so stylish and fun. We had 4 adults in the room and everyone was comfortable. The air conditioning worked great, the views all around it were spectacular, and the breakfast each morning was delicious. As other review say you should keep the bathroom closed due to small window that does not close off. We did that and it was fine. Our room included a porch right on the sand and full ocean view. The water was like glass. So clear and beautiful, Drinks and food were expensive on the beach area, but there was a gas station and pharmacy very close to get everything including subway for a late cheap dinner:) We’d stay again in a heartbeat!

We stayed there for 6 days, the staff is very helpful, right on the beach and walk to bars and restaurants in the tourist area. To downtown area you would need to get a taxi or rent a scooter/ATV. Rent those in downtown area because in the tourist area everything is double in price. Would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Great Tulum hotel on the beach. It’s a Tulum hotel so be aware of exactly what that looks like before you book. The view of the ocean was amazing. The stretch of beach was very nice and didn’t have any Sargassum when we were there (December). Had nice touches like Shampoo and Conditioner, and a hair dryer. The lighting is pretty, barely functional but that’s the point. The restaurant was good and we liked the included breakfast. Parking is a HUGE plus as it can be really hard in the Hotel Zone. Obviously it’s not perfect and not what I would normally expect from a hotel at this price. The shower water is a little salty and water pressure can be inconsistent. The AC was awesome for two days and less so for the other two. We were ready for these things. My only actual complaint was that Room Service never answered the WhatsApp.

The property and surrounding area was absolutely beautiful. The front desk staff was very helpful, polite and professional. They helped us book a tour which we very much enjoyed. However, the food service and bar service staff was horrible. They were rude, they acted bothered whenever asked a question. Breakfast took 1.5 hours from the time we sat down to the time we were finished. We had to approach the waiter every time we wanted to place our order for breakfast; he did not acknowledge or approach us while we sat at the table waiting for him. After the second day we began to walk up and reach over the service counter to pour our own coffee. This is a service we paid for, we were not expecting 5 star service. However, we expected the bare minimum which is to be acknowledged. Aside from that, everything was excellent. I would not recommend this hotel or go back to it because of the service. My next trip to Tulum will be at a different hotel.

Beautiful beach and breakfast dining area. The plumbing had problems and the property smelled or sulfur and sewer for the entire trip. Our water was cut off one day without any notice. Our friends had a lot of issues with their doors closing. A peculiar part is they make you pay in pesos for the stay when you pay at the property but multiply the USD by 19 so you pay more than the going exchange rate for the stay while the bar/restaurant has a 16 peso to USD exchange so you pay more when paying in USD. You leave feeling incredibly ripped off. It rained a lot the last day and roads in and out were flooded.

While the front desk staff were very nice and helpful, their restaurant service was not good. We stayed there for seven nights and after the first couple of days, we got ignored by the restaurant staff for breakfast. One morning we had to wait for one hour to get our order taken. Additionally, their alcoholic drinks are very expensive with hardly any alcohol in them. It felt like you were drinking juice. I will not stay there again!

We loved our time at Coco Unlimited! It was a quiet spot within the heart of Tulum. The staff was exceptionally good: from Patricio giving us a warm greeting, to the cleaning staff being thoughtful and thorough, to the breakfast staff getting our days off to the right start... That was the best part. But also- the place itself is really well done. Rooms are simple but luxurious, with cold AC and specialized linens. The beach area is delightful (they rake the seaweed away in the mornings), and so is the swimming pool.The decent sized pool sits in a beautiful setting, with foliage all around and a peaceful waterfall flowing. We loved the whole place!
