"Everything was fine, just keep in mind you are paying for convenience. The rooms are tiny, we didn’t have hot water, and the tv was mostly just static. BUT the employees were super kind and helpful, the room was clean, the free breakfast was decent, and the bar made a pretty good pina colada. So no major complaints, just keep your expectations in check."

To me it was a bit pricey;,but the selection seemed great~lobster, filet mignon, salmon, shrimp & grits... They don't have a hot tub, but there is a heated pool. They offer tons of excursions."

"Our experience at the Armas was wonderful! The location was perfect and close to all the nearby shopping and restaurants. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had no complaints and only positive experiences. Highly recommend! The shop right by the lobby has the best prices in town for all souvenirs, concessions, snacks, and the owner was so friendly. There is also a connected photobooth studio as well."

"Things to know: this is not a typical hotel. There is no lobby or checkin desk. You may see cleaning personnel or exterminator on sight. Amenities are internet and off site parking. Some bedrooms do not have windows. The area may appear sketchy but overall safe. There is a Mexican restaurant next door and some days the music is loud. "Staff very friendly! Room was solid and they provided an ocean view upgrade for a reasonable price. Very clean and in amazing location. The beach was stunning and they provided you with a complimentary beach lounge chairs and umbrella. The Atlantic Bar was a fun experience as its part of the hotel. Overall great experience and id definitely rebook."

"The location is a restaurant first, public beach second and a hotel third. The free parking is very limited and hotel staff will lie and say you can park outside the hotel when you will get a parking ticket and they won’t take responsibility."

"Wonderful hotel in old San Juan. Historic building right in the historic district with easy walking access to main sites, forts, etc. The rooms are large with lots of character. Breakfast was excellent. Pool was small but very nice with a good view of the city and port. Beds were very comfortable and staff were helpful and kind. Really enjoyed our stay!"
