"We love the Palmer House! This is our “go to” hotel when we travel to Chicago. It is close to theaters, concert halls, Michigan Ave with museums, restaurants, parks, etc. The hotel lobby is incredible! A great place to relax, have a beverage, people watch, and enjoy. The room we recently stayed in was beautiful! We were surprised with a suite and so much room to enjoy."

"I have stayed at a few Fairmount properties in the past and I would say this was not my favorite of the brand. Overall a nice hotel but not for the price point."

"We had an amazing anniversary weekend staying at the Sable for two evenings. Beautiful views of the skyline and lake and so accessible to restaurants and attractions at Navy Pier. Walking distance to some great Chicago coffee shops, River North and fun! We highly recommend the Sable for a weekend getaway!"

"Hotel has the markings of being grand, but needs a renovation in a lot of areas. The biggest issue we had is that the a/c is not adjustable in each room and the building was very warm on the 75 degree day in April. We called the front desk and they did bring us a fan that helped some and we realized we could crack the windows (but didn’t want to do that overnight with the noise of the city). Other than than, it was a standard stay and a convenient location for our plans in the city. "

"Hotel is definitely has the social club atmosphere and no parking at this property best to make a reservation for parking at Tower garage that’s what the requirements are…Please check your receipt before leaving I was charged for the bar and never used the bar or restaurant…. I am not sure where the advertising picture comes from and the hotel is too dark for me I prefer a more family oriented not Social Club… It’s great if you’re looking for a social crowd in the lobby with dim lights"
