"We recently had the opportunity to stay at Hotel UMass in advance of an accepted students visit on campus. The communications we received from the hotel before our arrival were clear so we knew how to find the garage to know where to park. Hotel check-in went smoothly. Our room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. I loved the UMass themed decor on the beds. After a good night's sleep, we saw a beautiful view of campus outside our window. Breakfast was included and available in the lobby....

"This property was very nice and cozy, very few amenities, coffee and tea at front desk area however it was appreciated. Only draw back I had was the sheets were a little bit stained and there was only one trash bin in the room and non in the bathroom. I would rebook at this inn in the future, the attendant at the front desk was also very nice. "

Lastly, the staff went above and beyond to find and quickly mail back my forgotten prescription eyeglasses to my home address. Will definitely stay here again if visiting the pioneer valley. "

"We loved everything about our stay. Our hosts were very kind, and put generous effort into providing delicious breakfasts, giving suggestions about local attractions, and allowing us as much or as little cat time as we wanted. The room we were in was very cozy, with a comfortable bed, and thoughtful touches such as a water kettle for tea or coffee, a small fridge, and a TV setup we didn’t take advantage of. "Beautiful historic property perfectly situated. From the friendly staff and fresh apple-cinnamon doughnuts to the nicely appointed rooms to the warm and generally quiet reading room where we were able to enjoy a game of chess, this place was a hit with us."

"It's a great B&B. However, expedia does NOT tell you that if you check in outside of normal hours (3-6pm) you need an appointment because it is run by an actual host. Just call and schedule your arrival with them! Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was great."
