The main area is adorable with Bama decor! The front desk staff is wonderful. The reason for less stars though is that the floors and rooms were not super clean and well maintained. Beds were decently comfortable thankfully at least.

Tha price was too high for the property. It was priced high because of the game. The mattress was lumpy and super thin. Pillows were also lumpy. The staff was nice.

The walls have stains, floors have stains and room had a musty smell. Tha place needs renovation. I will not be staying there again. Only plus is the staff was nice.

I wouldn’t stay there again. If it wasn’t that I was going home the next night I would have complained and asked for another room. The water did not get very warm and the drain in shower and sink both drained extremely slow. It could have been cleaner, floors seemed very gritty. Lady that checked me in was nice and welcoming. Price was very high for the condition of room but it was also a college game near by so was to be expected to a certain degree.

The staff was great. I can’t remember her name but she went out her way to help us. The rooms are terrible. Rooms smelled like mildew, sheets and blankets had stains on them. The beds are hard as ever. The walls are so thin you could literally hear people’s whole conversation after they came in at 2pm extremely loud. If I could get my money back I definitely would. We left at 2am to head home.

Not sure what the management was doing, but they claim to have cancelled my Expedia reservation because they tried to run my credit card from a previous stay. That card has expired, and they claim that they cancelled because card declined...when reservation from Expedia says pay at check-in. Funny how that works during a major SEC football game when they can charge an additional $200 per room on top of the $450 advertised price listed on my reservation. BEST WESTERN may want to check into this facility / location, as we met several other people who had reservations cancelled while eating at the Cracker Barrel right next door, where they were all trying to find new rooms. Something funny is / was going on. Understand, I'll never stay there again, and avoid BEST WESTERN at all costs in the future...no pun intended.

Mr Hughie and his staff are always so warm and welcoming. We stay at this hotel whenever we are passing through Tuscaloosa. The property is well kept, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
