"Friendly staff, rooms are fairly worn down, but ok cleanliness. This place could definitely use a remodel. There was a slight musty smell throughout the hotel and the carpet in our room had rips and stains. The breakfast was sparse and didn't taste very good. The location was good for the San Diego Safari Park."

"the room was very clean. The gentleman at the front desk was not very pleasant! He seemed annoyed when I asked questions. The pool was not as clean as it should have been. Breakfast hours were ridiculously Early {6am-9am}.- The breakfast hours should be open at least till 10am, we had children with us and they did not have breakfast. We felt RUSHED having to wake up the little one and hurry downstairs!!!! The hotel was nice clean and central to what our plans were. If these issues are...

"As we enter the hotel lobby and checked in at our hotel. The hotel attendant at the counter saw a “Happy birthday” head band on my daughter and gave both my daughters a Lego figure so they could trade in the next day at Legoland. Thank you!"

"This is in a terrible location with a large homeless population and a lot of drug usage. The door didn’t fully seal closed, the room was dirty, the beds were terrible, but mostly we just did not feel safe or feel that our vehicle was safe while parked overnight. Do NOT bring your family here."
