"The room was very clean and came with a nice moon-shaped batch tub with shower in the bathroom. The staff were very friendly and gave me directions to the hotel, since it was hard to find, even using Satnav. I was able to get a free car parking space because they are limited, so that was a bonus. The room came with free continental breakfast, which was also a nice touch. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay on the sea harbour and highly recommend it to future travellers."

"The lodge and location was outstanding. Situated on Heron Lakes looking across one of the 6 lakes on site with stunning views. Great location to get to the coast and plenty to do on site with walked, bike trails and of course fishing! Great short break away and will be staying here again. "Sadly, this was a bad experience. I booked via Expedia where the hotel was advertising a Michelin trained chef and a restaurant. I travelled solo 145 miles for a two night break purely because of this. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to learn the restaurant closed last year. I expressed this disappointment in very civil tones, explaining this was the only reason for my visit. I asked the owner Stacie if I could therefore cancel my second night and obtain a partial refund for it. Stacie agreed...
