Residences in Umbria

We stayed at Castello di Monterone for just one night. .. our wedding anniversary present to ourselves. The castle is as close to a vision of a fairytale with turrets and castellated roof terraces as you can get. Camerino is closed completely because of the earthquake and will not be reopened in the near future. The hotel is first rate and in a beautiful setting but not really convenient for tourism on the doorstep. However, if you want a wedding or a small conference, it would be terrific. The restaurant is top notch and not expensive for what you get.

The Castello is a unique experience. The service is excellent, it is family run and it is high quality. Because the accommodation is in former village homes it is unusual but has been modernised with high quality facilities and air conditioning. The restaurant is very good and again great staff. Great pool. It is convenient for visiting Sienna or Arezzo.

We had a great stay in a beautiful rustic barn-style building. It was spacious and comfortable and clean. Gaia's recommendations really made it special though - she recommended two amazing restaurants and organised us a fantastic complimentary wine tour.

Well this was really an amazing place to stay!!! The staff were so lovely and could not be helpfull enough, everything they did was with a huge smile and they were really so warm. The appartment was stunning, very large and above all really comfortable and clean, everything was emaculate. The location was perfect for everything and a brilliant place to stay for a visit to Umbria, and is brilliant value for money. I really would recommend staying here.
