"The room was fine, not exceptional, for me, as I was only staying for 6 nights. I hadn't booked breakfast as it was only offered on a Sunday, but there is a "Sandwich Stop" attached to the hotel in the car park. Parking was adequate, but trying to exit onto the busy main road was a nightmare, as the hedges were so overgrown and hadn't been trimmed, so it was impossible to see traffic approaching from both directions. "I was a bit surprised to be put in a room on the old side of the hotel - a bit souless. I'm sure the more modern side to the hotel is nice, but I didn't get to see it"

"Staff were polite and welcoming. The lady at the desk in the dining room took time to walk around checking guests were OK. I gave an overall 4- star because my request for late check-out wasn't effected and I had to go back to reception to get it implemented. "

"Hotel is near the Jubilee campus but not near city centre. Clean and big room and staff was helpful. We had to pay for carpark at £6 per day. There used to be free carpark before this. It would be good if hotel guests are given free carpark like before as the price of the hotel stay is not cheap."

"Lovely, quiet, hotel in a residential area very close to the River Trent. Ample free parking, although the staff will need a note of your vehicle registration. Our superior king size room was fresh, modern and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. There is an in room kettle, tea, coffee etc as well as a coffee machine with pods Although we were only there for one night there was plenty of space in the wardrobe and there were also lots of hangers - which makes a refreshing change....

I didnt have breakfast as it was served to late for me, but i ate once in the restaurant for an evening meal. Half the menu wasn't available so I had a chicken burger. "Charming pub with rooms in the courtyard. Each one had parking outside. Very spacious room with comfortable bed, smart tv and tea & coffee making facilities. Good size en suite with great shower. Towels provided along with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Breakfast was made to order along with continental options. Staff friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. "

"Fabulous stay. Lovely, spacious, spotless twin room with very clean, modern en suite. Everywhere is extremely clean and very well maintained. Plenty of parking and a fantastic outside area for sunny days. Staff very friendly and helpful. Generous meal portions and absolutely delicious! We joined in the quiz night and were even greeted warmly (and helped!) by the locals. We will definitely be staying again!"
