"Charming bed and breakfast. The owners/hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the property. The gardens outside were lovely. Breakfast was delightful with coffee served in real chinaware and flowers on the table! The extra cost is well worth it. Such a different experience from staying at a chain hotel. Made for some great memories!!"

"I am assuming because of Hurricane Helene, like the rest of Lake Lure area, this place flooded. Our problem was that there was a strong odor coming from the basement. They sprayed something into the air to cover it, but it was awful. We had to leave a day early because it was just too much. I hated to write this review because we love Lake Lure, but sadly it was hit hard and they are still in recovery, not just them but the whole area."
