"I love this hotel. It is so cozy and nice. The staff is incredibly polite and helpful. Even though I am always travelling for business and have to get up very early for airport transit, I always feel like I get a nice reset and comfy night before departure. Staff is also super helpful in getting transit set up. Wonderful everytime."

"The room was clean and all was functional. Hot shower and great features. Well situated in a safe neighborhood. Access was easy. My stay was unfortunately affected by guests that did not respect the quiet hours and were partying at 3am in a common area. If it wasn’t for that unfortunate situation, this would have been a 5-star review."

"Perfect, and perfectly situated in the best neighborhood. This historic building is charming and the decor is lovely with a super comfy bed. I was in room 8 which is perfect for a solo traveler. The staff are super helpful. Colonia Americana is the coolest part of the city and Gala Hotel is on the nicest street full of grand homes, coffeeshops and restaurants. "Stayed in apart B which was fantastic! Prime location, and the service was great - everything you need to feel taken care of. Very much looking forward to returning. Feedback: the shower water pressure become non existent for a few nights or warm water disappeared mid shower. Hence the 4 stars. "

The location is excellent — close to many attractions and easy to get around either on foot or with a short Uber ride. The staff were outstanding: friendly, attentive, and always willing to help.
