"I have stayed at your property a couple of times while my daughter attended UMD. You provide a comfortable, clean room, really comfortable beds and pillows, and reasonable parking. My only "complaint" was trying to find an ice machine. I had perishable food with me and hoped to get ice (I was told you had a refrigerator that I could use, then when I checked in was told it wasn't available because a guest had their insulin in it. How small of a refrigerator do you have?) The one on my floor...

"One of the most relaxing and memorable stays I’ve had in years. Swann House is every bit as charming as I remembered from 20 years ago. The owners are so warm and welcoming, and Christine, the Inn Keeper, is not only a gracious host but also a great cook—breakfast each morning was a real treat. The house is located in a lovely neighborhood, and just a short walk to Dupont Circle station, which made it easy to get around without needing a ride service. "This was a wonderful place to stay - close to Union Station and the Capitol, and a great bargain for both the location and the hotel itself. Every employee we interacted with was polite and friendly, and the room was clean and well maintained. The 24-hour coffee and tea station on the second floor was great, and the two bottles of water left in our room each day was helpful in the July heat. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in DC! "
