"We were happy to have a clean place to stay but due to being very early in the season there was no restaurant as indicated, it was closed! Water took a very long time to warm up. The room was ready for us as stated. Key was where it was supposed to be. No chair to sit on inside or outside."

I just noticed the curtains, and I hope they can add double-layer curtains and install a screen door for the room because when I open the door, people and cars passing by can see directly inside. "Beautiful location with a beautiful view but just feels like there is very little upkeep. Broken mirror in the bathroom, fan in the bathroom sounded like it was going to take off. Some of the lights didn’t work. Toilet roll holder barely hanging on the wall. It’s not a bad spot but just needs some love. Beautiful beach on the shore of Huron."

"This hotel is very old as soon as you look at it you think oh what have I done but once you get inside the room, you see it’s all new and the staff is very helpful polite and quick. I am 83 years old travelling along with my dog and I felt safe."

"This is an old motel that I believe is being renovated one room at a time. Unfortunately, our room was not one of the newly renovated ones and was, quite frankly, disgusting! We are not picky but have an expectation of clean. The only thing that was clean was the bed. The floor had not been vacuumed, the fridge was dirty, the microwave was filthy and I could hardly bring myself to even use the bathroom, certainly no shower was had.
