The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the whole hotel felt well run and inviting. Fantastic value for money in a great location. We booked the stay based on how we were spoken over the phone when contacting the propery prior for some details. "Didn’t expect much with the price (and the main photo is of a service station Costa) but just need a quick stop off. Really loud room, it was facing away from the motorway, but nicely has air conditioners (or something) in a court yard outside the window . About 3 hrs sleep. Lady on reception was great though, didn’t get a name, but she was the shiny light in tired old hotel (ask if they’re hiring at the Mercury 😉)"

"Great stay overall. There was plenty to do around Rochester, making it a great location. The only downside was that our room was close to the train station, so it could be a little noisy at times. However, the receptionist was attentive, friendly, and polite, which made us feel very welcome. I would definitely stay here again."
