"The grounds and the old manor hall are beautiful lots of wildlife and birds. The spa / leisure centre is also very good but is ran by a seperate company to the main hotel which why it might explain it is better ran than the main hotel. We enjoyed our stay and the room (double suite in main hall building ) was good and spacious including a/c. "Es war eine stilistisch eine wunderschöne alte klassische Unterkunft. Die Inneneinrichtung ist rustikal aber schön gehalten und passt zum Gesamtbild. Die Zimmer waren ordentlich und sauber. Das Grundstück ist riesig, worauf man noch einen kleinen Abendspaziergang machen kann. Das Frühstück war gut und es gibt genügend Auswahlmöglichkeiten. Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend."

"Location was great, for parks and gardens pubs and restaurants, staff very friendly breakfast was very good plenty of choice. Room was small very hot even with a fan going all night which was noisy, shower wasn't great too hot or two cold, lucky dip on which one you got, could probably shop around for better B&B for the price. That being said, had a good break in a nice friendly town."

"Lovely hotel - clean, well maintained, excellent breakfast. VERY hot in a heatwave, (admittedly - likely not a problem for most of the year!) They did put fans in every room, and spaced them out throughout the hallways to try to keep the air moving. But be aware there no Aircon in the rooms if it's looking to be a hot one! Otherwise, I cannot fault anything though."
