"Please be warned: the open office windows of the adjacent building are only a couple of meters from the room window. You can see their monitors, and they can see directly into your room. It feels like being on display. If you care even slightly about privacy, choose another hotel. I paid about CAD $1,000 for two nights expecting a good room, but the hotel provided only one key card for two guests. Since all doors and elevators require the card, two people must stay together at all times. As soon as you separate, one person cannot open the door or use the elevator. I asked for two cards, but reception refused impolitely. Their solution is that staff can open doors, but in practice the person without a card must depend on others constantly. This is completely impractical. The shower is badly designed: water splashes outside no matter how careful you are, leaving the bathroom floor wet. The curtains are not blackout curtains, and lights from the adjacent office stay on, so the room never becomes properly dark. There were also smaller frustrations: no espresso cups for the espresso machine, no heated towel rack, wet towel smell after showering, and poor communication around luggage storage. Snack and amenity prices were hidden deep in the closet on a small paper, so guests are not properly informed before consuming them. At checkout, when I said we had a bad experience, reception did not even ask why. They simply did not seem to care. A horrible experience, poor services!"
