"We are local, but needed a place to stay while our house was having some work done. We were so excited to see The Overlook was open, and I'm even more excited that we booked! They're still finishing the property so not all rooms are available, but I can't wait to visit when they're all done! Beautiful rooms, kind and flexible owners - a must-stay if you're in Saugerties! The luxurious bathrooms are a huge bonus!"

"We were greeted by a very polite young lady at the desk when we arrived were impressed with the cleanliness and layout of our room. The temperature of the room was perfect. The queen bed was comfortable, the bathroom was very clean with plenty of towels and washcloths available. "Great stay in this fairly new property. Spacious rooms. Good parking, and well-located. Everything in central Lake Placid within walking distance, and a pretty good brewpub right next door. Pretty good complimentary breakfast. Coffee was ok, but could have been better (and refreshed more frequently). Just two negatives.
