"The hotel might be a little out of the way, but it is only a short walk from station and city centre, set in a quiet street with no through traffic. The hotel describes itself as "boutique" and I cannot think of a better word to describe it. Nicely furnished, clean and very friendly"

"if you want a youth hostel experience at hotel prices this is the place. The rooms are tiny and poorly ventilated, so must be very hot in high summer. The toilets and showers are shared in classic hostel style. I expect the hotel thinks the décor is quirky. The staff are friendly, but nothing can help this. Next time I'll stay in the Premier Inn!"

"For the price you pay, it’s not bad. The decor may need an update, but the pictures online are true to form. My only real gripe was the plastic mattress protector on the obviously new mattress- you’ll wake up in a pool of sweat in the middle of the night. Nevertheless, I still give my overall experience 5 stars because of the hotel’s staff. They went above and beyond to help me from restaurant reservations, what points of interest to see, and even printed several documents I needed for me. At the end of the day, a hotel is really just a fungible service - a bed to sleep in. The difference is service. I would definitely recommend. "
