Do not expect a proper hotel with proper hotel services. Outside cumbersome, inside cheap dirty furniture with damages. Just a place to stay for little money.

I appreciate the professional support I received from Atefeh, she is courteous and ensured that my disability needs were met. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable for my needs. I really liked the comfortable environment and ability to open windows on a sunny day! Even with my disability, I was able to walk to the bus stop which is right next to the hotel, very convenient for those who don’t have a car. Thank you Atefeh!!!

Jag blev positivt överraskad av Hotell Norrort. Innan besöket var jag skeptisk efter att ha läst tidigare omdömen, men jag delar inte riktigt den uppfattningen. Många nämner att de blivit utelåsta från sina rum, men det handlar om att man första gången måste slå en längre kod – därefter används en 5-siffrig kod och man trycker # när panelen lyser upp. Enkelt när man vet det. Det är inget lyxhotell, men för runt 500 kr/natt är det väldigt prisvärt. Rummet var fräscht och upplevelsen överlag bättre än väntat. Det enda minuset under mitt besök var att wifi inte fungerade, men annars kan jag varmt rekommendera Hotell Norrort.

Dusch i badkar, mycket stor olycksrisk

Många rum är utrustade med badkar med dusch i badkaret. Lite schampo eller två gör badkaret till en mycket stor halkrisk. Bada i badkaret, kanske någon dristar sig till att säga. Nej, på tok för energikrävande. Lägg också till att 194 cm i ett minibadkar är extremt obekvämt. Hotellet har några rum med dushkabin.

Man får vad man betalar för?

Duschskynket i duschen har nog inte tvättats på länge, flera stora bruna/röda fläckar från smutsiga fingrar och A/C i sovrummet kyler inte överhuvudtaget så den fungerar bara som en fläkt som blåser runt luften. Dessutom ingen ventilation, inte ens i badrummet, vilket gör att det blir varmt och mycket fuktigt på rummet om det är varmt ute eller kallt och fuktigt om det är kallt ute. Enda sättet att få in ny luft i rummet är att öppna fönstret. Handdukar byts inte om man inte begär det och ingen daglig städning ingår så jag fick ringa nattjouren för att bli av med de gamla blöta handdukarna som låg på golvet när jag kom tillbaks på kvällen. VARNING för halkrisken i badkaret när man ska duscha, det blir verkligen livsfarligt med lite tvål i botten. Extremt smal säng jämfört med många andra hotell, kanske 80-90 cm och hård (bäddmadrassen är tunn som en filt). Bilparkeringen är gratis men innebär tyvärr att det är svårt att hitta plats om hotellet är fullbokat, det räcker inte till alla. Ett plus är dock att det fanns kyl/frys på rummet och en mikrougn, speciellt när det inte finns någon mat på hotellet.
