"Construction was occurring on the property which we were not previously aware of. So not all areas were accessible. It was a holiday weekend and only one person at the front desk with a long check-in line. The clerk did the best he could. However, the key didn’t work for our assigned room. Back down to the front desk, wait on the long line. The key was reactivated and we returned to the room to find it was already occupied by another guest! Guess that’s why our key didn’t initially work. Back...

"Upon check-in at 12:30am, the clerk informed me it was no longer 6/13 and I was now checking in on 6/14. I explained that check-in was allowed til 5:30am per their check-in policy and i could show him my receipt, he ignored what I said. He proceeded to cancel my reservation and rebook a room then told me to speak to the person at the desk in the morning. "The check-in gent (Samba his name I believe) was helpful and personable (and speaks 4 languages), my room and bathroom were clean, bed comfortable, water plentiful and hot, and the price was competitive. Further, and importantly, I'm a sound-sensitive person and my room was quiet. For all these reasons, I would stay at this hotel again."
