"I would choose this hotel again if I needed to spend a night in Vancouver. It was clean, modern, with good bedding. Check in was easy. My only complaint was the lack of vending machines or any other food available for late arrivals. I’m was pretty hungry by the time I arrived having eaten nothing but airplane pretzels since lunch much earlier in the day. I made due with a bag of trail mix I brought along. Other than that, my stay was fine. Oh yes, one more thing, I could not use the shuttle as they did not assist with getting heavy luggage on or off so I had to call an uber."

"We were first booked at the main building but staff upgrade us to lakeside view on the 2nd floor with one king size bed which was a bonus, unfortunately the air-conditioning system broke down; we turned the fan on but it seemed like only sent out hot air and we were not being told at the beginning, inside the room was so hot that we couldn’t sleep well the whole night. The pools we thought were hot springs but the water not hot enough as we first expected, even the shower in own room was hotter than the pools. Overall the hotel is old but maintained well, inside room is clean, lakeside view is gorgeous !"

"Fabulous room, but we had to wait past check in time to get in, when we were paying thousands of dollars for 2 day stay. The man who checked us in offered, and we accepted, 2 complementary drinks each at the bar while we were waiting, but we could not used them because the first thing I wanted to use after we checked in, was the gym. We said we would wait close to the desk within eyesight and asked him to call us when, the room was ready, and he agreed. We waited and waited and I watched him. Finally, I got up and went to the desk to ask if the room was ready and they said they had texted us that it was ready. DOES NO ONE TALK TO ANYONE ANYMORE? They had not said they would text us. They had said, and confirmed, that they would call us. We were right there."
