We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Montecarlo! The hotel is in a wonderful, central location close to Piazza San Marco. The staff was helpful, always ready to answer questions or give advice on local restaurants, things to do, etc. We had them arrange a water taxi for us to go to the airport, and ...

Breakfast was well stocked but very busy but has a second buffet that makes up for it, area was outside of main island but very accessible via people mover train or vaporetto

Hotel Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo
Breakfast was great. Close to all major attractions. Great location. Room was hot, windows open- lots of noise and mosquitos! April visit. Rooms are small, not in the room much. Clean and great beds. Just what you need after sightseeing!
