"I read a number of the negative reviews (after I had booked) and arrived at the hotel with anticipation of being disappointed. I am glad to say we had a lovely stay. Food was good, staff helpful, it is a lovely setting. I stayed in the river view suite and the room was great. Design good and lots of space. There is a lovely walk along the river. My only regret was that I had not figured where the hot buffet was at breakfast. I only spotted it when I was leaving. Thankfully, I was not there when...

"Overall good. Hotel is close to airport and is within walking distance. Metro is handy for getting around. We have 2 persons checking in but only 1 paper cup was provided for teeth brushing. Additional ones were given on request. Airport shuttle runs 24 hours but needs reservation and the van is small. Taking the shuttle from the airport on arrival would need prior arrangement. We were not able to contact the hotel from the airport and ended up jumping into a taxi and the driver wasn't...

"The Log Porto Hotel was an amazing place to stay at! It was close to two major metro stations making it easy to get to and from downtown. The staff were very friendly and helpful. "Very handy for the airport if you have an early flight or late arrival. Within easy walking distance. Not a characterful hotel, more a commuting stop over but fine for that purpose. Very close to the metro stop for Porto, in fact just over the road! Very tiny downside but annoying factor is you have to buy milk if you want to make a cup of tea! No complimentary milk at this hotel! "

"Everything was great, from the check in to the check out. The one thing is that at night all the big bars are around the hotel and it get very loud and stays that way perty late into the early morning . They do give you ear plugs, just depends on if your a lite sleeper or not. Pool area is cool, just needs a hot tub for night. I will be coming back next year."
