"Room for 4 people included only 1 bath towel and 2 large hand towels, 1 tiny bar of soap, and a single 1-cup Starbucks coffee pod. Shower faucet leaked all night and the bathroom/bedroom were quite run down. Breakfast was decent and the restaurant staff were very kind. For a hotel charging over 2x more than a chain motel, we had higher expectations for the room. "

"We really enjoyed this hotel. It was centrally located and allowed for us to walk the downtown streets of Santa Fe during our stay. The hotel has a lot of stairs and no elevator to upper floors, so that should be kept in mind for people with mobility issues. We were able to navigate them easily. We had a room with a fireplace but the higher temps during our stay meant we did not have the staff build a fire for us. Maybe next time. We opened all the doors and windows for excellent room air ventilation. The decor is exactly what you would expect from old world Santa Fe and the property is beautiful. We had a wonderful stay. Make sure to try the onsite restaurant, El Rincon Cafe. The lamb chops and Arctic Char were excellent. This is really hidden gem right in the hotel. We will gladly stay here again when we return to Santa Fe. "

"The hotel was adequate but nothing special. Front desk staff was rude at check-in. There were no towel racks in the bathroom, just hooks. The outdoor front entrance had some litter around; didn't seem to be anyone's job to keep it neat. Location is excellent and convenient to "downtown" Santa Fe, within walking distance. I might try another location if/when I return to Santa Fe."

"Everything was great. Our bed required a little shim work to keep it stable on the tile floor in room #3, but everything else was perfect. Great location, cool decor and setting. I would definitely choose to stay here again."
