An absolutely delightful place to stay and would highly recommend The Carob Tree if you are visiting Gozo! The hosts were super attentive and nothing was too much trouble, can't wait re-visit!

We had the best time at the Carob Tree B&B. Matthew and Clementa are the most friendly hosts you can wish for. They took good care of us and our 11 month old son. 10/10!

What an amazing stay! The host made our experience so much more memorable. He had so many incredible recommendations and even shared a whole PDF document with us haha! We actually tried most of the restaurants on his list, and every single one was fabulous. The place itself was spacious, clean, comfortable, and conveniently located, with everything easily accessible. We had such a wonderful experience and would 100% recommend staying here. We’d definitely come back!

The owners are super friendly. The places is sparkling clean. An extensive selection for breakfast for this size of B&B. A nice pools and lounge area. They got coffe/tea available whole day. A great location, easy to get everywhere.

Exceptional….Matthew the host and his wife were so helpful prior to our arrival…on arrival you arrive at a little tiny doorway which opens onto the most amazing house! The rooms were stunning as was the kitchen/dining area! Pool area was amazing and all within a 15 min stroll into Victoria! Highly recommend

Clement’s and Matthew were fabulous hosts, nothing was too much trouble and the care and attention they have given the property creates a warm homely feel. The breakfast was plentiful with healthy options and the rooms were spacious comfortable and extremely clean. We were able to walk the kilometre into the central square in the evening to enjoy dinner, it was an easy walk and very safe

This is an amazing find. There is absolutely nothing to fault. The rooms are lovely, sparkling clean as is everywhere. The pool is a quiet retreat after a day sightseeing. The breakfast is fresh and tasty. The owners Matthew and Clemence are lovely, often around to check in that all is well. Would definitely recommend and hope to come again.

Very clean, modern and spacious rooms with nice garden and pool - just like the pictures! We especially enjoyed the kind hospitality by Matthew and Clementa, their great tips around Gozo and their delicious breakfast every morning. Also good parking opportunities.

The Carob B&B is an absolute must-stay in Gozo! Matthew and Clementa have clearly poured their hearts and souls into creating such a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere from arrival to departure. It’s the perfect sanctuary. You can spend the day exploring the island and then unwind by the pool. The location is great: it’s an easy 15 minute walk into central Victoria, though in the summer heat, taking the 306 bus down the road or calling a Bolt is super convenient. Our room had a breathtaking view from the balcony, and our only regret was not booking a longer stay. I’d recommend staying at least three nights to really take in Gozo. We will be recommending The Carob to friends and family and hope to return ourselves soon!

Underbart B&B

Ett underbart fint och trevligt familjeägt ställe. Så fint och rent. Familjen som äger det är underbara och väldigt tillmötesgående. Dom gör allt för att man ska få en så bra vistelse som möjligt. Jag rekommenderar helhjärtat detta boende!

Absolument parfait !

Tout était parfait ! L’hôtel est à la fois central et au calme. Les propriétaires sont d’une gentillesse extrême, très attentionnés et de bon conseil pour visiter Gozo. Confort absolu de la chambre et des parties communes.

Beautiful property located within walking distance of Victoria. A real oasis of peace and calm. Matthew and Clementa were so welcoming and offered great advice on walks, restaurants and sights. We based ourselves here and were able to complete most of the Gozo coastal walks. Good public transport. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous Stay

Fabulous stay. Our lovely hosts and new friends Mathew and Clementa were very friendly and extremely helpful with places to see, restaurants, parking, directions, ferries etc. Our room and bathroom were spacious, clean and beautifully decorated, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a large walk-in shower. The breakfast and common area was also lovely decor and clean with tea and coffee making facilities available 24hrs and a great continental breakfast included. The excellent pool and terrace area was good for a refreshing dip and had sunloungers, umbrellas and garden furniture to relax. Quiet location on the edge of town, was convenient to Victoria town centre and easily accessible to sites, beaches around the island. If you're not driving the bus station is in Victoria town centre and cabs are readily available. We could have stayed in Gozo all week without the 2 day trips to Malta, so lovely.

Séjour très agréable. Matthew et sa femme sont de très bon conseil pour votre voyage sur l'île de Gozo. La maison est vraiment très agréable et reposante. La chambre est magnifique. Petit dej au top aussi. Merci pour tout !

Highly Recommended

Fabulous family run hotel. The couple who run the hotel are really friendly and helpful. Hotel is well finished and spotlessly clean. Great view if you get one of the rooms with a balcony. It’s an easy 10 minutes walk into the centre of Victoria.
