"We went for a surprise anniversary and selected the queen room with harbor view. Was gorgeous but came with impeded view of harbor and construction of a rooftop access area. Not what the advertisements offered. The hotel received my frustration and responded to my concerns promptly and attentively. The focus and attention to my concerns was sincere and most gracious. Thank you to the team. We had a most lovely visit."

"Only has A/C units in main room. The bedroom only had fan. But it is an older building so not surprised. Clive's was fantastic. Try the Empress G&T, very visually impressive and tasty too! Steak and Frites happy hour was delicious! Roof top dining great view, dinner was average."

"Overall great stay. Rooms are clean. Bathrooms are clean and bright. Staff friendly. I didn’t have time to use any amenities.
Only negatives were length of time to check in at desk. A lot of paperwork & computer work it seemed.
We stayed two nights not consecutive as we attended a wedding north of Victoria one night. Our view was a brick wall directly out our window both stays, and both times we had to call for our TV to be fixed. They did come immediately to fix it to their credit.

"The dress code is out- dated and ridiculous. We had to pay $20 per day to park 4 blocks away, and had to take a key fob back to the hotel each time after getting the car.
No water in the rooms, and our tv would shut off and on every 30 seconds when we tried to watch a football game.
When checking out, they didn't even ask how our stay was!
This place was a nightmare, stay anywhere else!"

"Location was great and overall a pleasant stay. The air conditioner wasn’t the best and the plumbing needs work. Water does not drain in the shower or sink and the water was extremely hot and took a while to cool. For the cost and the fact that there’s a kitchen and washing machine, I would stay here again."

"First time staying in a hostel and I feel like this was a great choice. We got our own room. They seem to realize prioritize making people feel safe and comfortable. Hoping every hostel I stay at is like this. They provided breakfast and also dinner which I thought was super cool. We only stayed for 1 night. They did a song bingo in the bar that was a lot of fun. The room was incredibly hot but it did come with a fan."

"We arrived early for check-in but the reception staff and valets were so helpful to store our luggage and then deliver it to our room as soon as it was available.
The room itself was beautiful. The bathroom was deluxe having both a soaker tub and walk-in shower.
It is truly a luxury hotel and the staff are very good at making the guests feel comfortable and welcome. We definitely want to stay again."
