"I stayed at the Eko Gardens, which must be their original hotel. The only issue I had was the smell of mold, not just in the room but also in the foyer. The room was lovely, spacious and comfortable with lovely leather furniture. It was a good rate for the room with the pool and restaurants in the newer hotel available for use. There is a shuttle available, but only a few minute stroll will get you there, with a gift shop on the way to pick up souvenirs. I would definitely stay again!"

"Very beautiful hotel with friendly staff and an amazing view, especially around the restaurant area perfect for taking pictures. The property itself is lovely and the atmosphere was relaxing. However, the pricing did not really match the overall experience we received. My biggest issue was with the booking process through Expedia. I accidentally selected the wrong check-in date for a 3-night stay, and within less than an hours of booking, I immediately requested a correction after noticing the mistake. Unfortunately, I was told the hotel had a strict non-refundable policy after 6 PM local time, and I still ended up losing the cost of one night even though the reservation had just been made. I then had to pay for an extra night to extend my stay. Another thing to note is that although the room was listed as accommodating up to 6 people, I was charged an additional ₦50,000 per night for a foldable bed for our group of 4. Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel with great photo spots and courteous staff, but I would advise future guests to double-check their booking details carefully and clarify all extra charges ahead of time to avoid unexpected costs."

"This is one of the best boutique hotels I've ever stayed in anywhere on earth. Highly attentive staff, welcoming atmosphere, fantastic combination Nigerian/English breakfast buffet...you really can't do better than this, in Lagos or anywhere else"

"I enjoyed stay with my wife. It was a brilliant experience. However, I will ask that room prices, food and drink prices be reviewed particularly in this period of global economic hardship. Further more, please apply silicone sealant in the bathroom shower to room/cubicle 1032 as it floods the bathroom after each bath/shower causing very serious health and safety issues. You may want also as a suggestion improve protection to the balconies with transparent/airy pallades. Good hotel and would be highly recommended to friends and family. Thank you"

"Everything was great, food staff in my room! Unfortunately, my last day there it seemed like they had issues with their credit card machines, which was a major thing because it wouldn’t allow any of my cards to go through even when I went to the ATM machine to pay for laundry that I had done. Fortunately, for me, the room was paid for."

"It’s not the hotel you see in the pictures. It’s the quiet building to the side. I wished I had access to the big pool, but you need a shuttle. The rooftop was insane. The Friday night barbecue was ok, as some of the food just sat out. The shrimp I ate, for example was dried out and tasteless. I liked my suite as they upgraded me, but I felt I was missing the “grand resort” feel of the Eko Hotel, not Eko Suites. I would try Eko Hotel with beach/lagoon view with balcony next time."

"Excellent breakfast selection with variety of sweet and savoury dishes. Top notch helpful and professional staff apart from one who confronted us about attempting to take a muffin to eat later. Location is near good transportation. "
