"Very friendly and courteous staff! It was cold outside but the room was lovely and cozy warm. Nice dinner and my breakfast was included. It is right next to the ferry dock in Gudvangen. In the morning, after breakfast I walked over to the Viking Village and did a tour there… very interesting and worth doing. The bus stop was no more than a 10 minute walk from Fjordtel and I jumped on the bus to Bergen. Thank you for your hospitality Gudvangen Fjordtel!"

"Lovely hotel in the mountains of Norway. Definitely a place I’d return to and spend extended time. Was impressed by the service, breakfast and they have a very convenient self serve grocery. "

"Very nice place, cosy, clean,peaceful and friendly staff. But we thought it was a little overpriced, especially since you have to make your own beds at check in and at check out, take linens off, wash dishes and empty garbage. "
