"Terrific location right in the middle of the historic district. The staff is welcoming. Very walkable. This hotel was renovated and our room was modern and beautiful. Our breakfast was the best one on our fourteen day trip. The breakfast room was beautiful and they also have a rooftop terrace if desired. "

"Lovely character hotel with lots of charm and history! The staff at reception were excellent and very helpful. Our room was a good size with a big wardrobe, desk, and windows. The bathroom was also a good size with a shower and tub. Very quiet for sleeping. The hotel breakfast had lots of food options and was in a grand dining room or out on the terrace. We would absolutely come back to this hotel! "

"Very pleasant surprise. The Quinta was purchased by a well-off German back in 2017. He seem to have made it his pet project. Spared no expense to make it a top-notch retreat. The suite we stayed in was originally a horse stable that was turned into a super modern, large place with the help of some leading Lisbon design firm, while keeping some of it’s original features. "A lovely unique hotel with delightful service. We were staying there during the blackout and the staff put together food and brought in to all the rooms along with candles and battery lamps. The staff worked so hard to make us comfortable and kept us updated on the power outage. Their kindness was very much appreciated. Would stay there again and again. "
