"We stayed for one night before an early flight and found it incredibly convenient. Being connected directly to the airport made returning our rental car and catching our flight the next morning completely stress-free. Our room was very quiet and comfortable, and we slept well despite being at a busy airport. The only minor drawback was that our room was quite a long walk from the lobby, but overall it was an excellent choice for an overnight stay before a flight."

"Our stay at Sempione was nice. The onsite restaurant had excellent food and very convenient. The complimentary breakfast was a big plus and very tasty. The shuttle service to and from airport was a huge bonus. Five of us stayed in the quintuple room which was a little tight for five adults but provided a decent place to sleep. The AC was weak so the room was a little warm. All in all, a cozy, clean place to stay."

However, water is charged in the room which is not an expected situation as the price range of this hotel is not a cheap one. The shower floor is extremely slippery, especially after using hair conditioner. It is dangerous for elders and children as there isn’t any mat or handles. "There were both positives and negatives during our stay at this hotel. On the positive side, the hotel was extremely clean, the staff members were friendly and helpful, and I really appreciated the secure free parking available in the basement. However, there were a few issues that affected our overall experience. The biggest problem was the air conditioning. We stayed for three nights and booked four rooms for our family, and every room had the same issue — the AC did not cool properly at all....

"Hotel Excelsior Splendide was amazing! The location was absolutely perfect, with everything in Bellagio just a short walk away. Our room had a beautiful view of Lake Como, and we loved relaxing by the pool after exploring. The hotel was beautiful, the room was great, and the included breakfast was an added bonus. You do have to book your shuttles kind of an advance because depending on how many people are at the hotel you have to get back-and-forth to town so it’s a good idea to try and plan your day out. The staff are very helpful overall a very good place. They are doing some renovations so if you’re planning on sleeping in late, you might hear something.
