"This property is stunningly beautiful. A wedding venue with lovely lodging. Super comfortable bed in a nice room. Nothing negative to say. We were the only couple in the building until about bedtime and someone else came in. We heard them arrive to the room next door, and no noise after that. The town of Staunton is also a sweet, contemporary mountain town. Do stay here if you get the chance. "

"The staff here is fantastic! I love the history that is acquainted with the the Smithfield Inn. Although it is a very old establishment, my room was clean and had all the modern amenities other hotels have. One of the special features is they have an agreement with the Smithfield Gourmet Bakery. You receive a voucher for up to a $12 value for a HOMEMADE breakfast of your choice! "Everyone was friendly! After making the reservation online, I received a phone call from Jonathan confirming and thanking me for booking with them. This quaint inn is quiet, accommodating and perfect for my short stay in the area--even for a holiday weekend. I purchased an extension cord and it worked perfectly to blow dry and style my hair at the mirror. This inn was constructed at a time when multiple outlets were not necessary and the ocean breeze would style your hair anyway. "
