We loved our cabin stay at wild wind - a refurbished old school house along the river. Very peaceful and had everything you could need. Great location close to Shenandoah and Rapidan River. "Overall the place was beyond great from every aspect to me. Everything inside the room was new and looked great only issue was no shower curtain but wasn’t a deal breaker. Me and my nephew stayed there over the weekend to do atv trails in the town of Gilbert WV. Was a blast will definitely go back. Anyone looking to book don’t let outside appearance fool you it definitely is nice and comfortable along with it being affordable too. "

"Clean room , renovated. New mattresses. Staff courteous helpful. Continental breakfast. Love coming every year with family over winter weekend. Close to mountain Wisp, have big safe hill near resort for sledding. Bring your own sleds. Cross country sleeping on property is also a plus, but bring your own skis ."
