"Great staff, gardens, food, strong bedroom AC, and proximity to airport. Only disappointments were the tired bathroom and the view of a concrete/painted wall 3 feet from our bedroom window. It let in light but no view at all."

"This resort charges a $US 100 dollar fee per day for adult swimming pool. This is just ridiculous! The restaurant table for four people is too small. The table size is barely large enough for two people."

"Our 6 night stay on Beachcomber Island was perfect. Lovely beach front Bure and fantastic weather. The upgraded facilities and new pool are excellent. I called this our sand Island. Dining breakfast and lunch buffets undercover from hot sun is on sand however there is a new open deck under umbrellas and perfect for dinner under the stars. All the food was nice with different choices. Everyday day trippers come and they have a full itinerary to fill the day. Lots to do for everyone snorkeling Cloud 9 Kokoda demonstrations turtle viewing on the island Or relaxing under umbrellas on a sun lounge. Friendly staff who make you welcome. There is still construction going on however it didn’t bother us. The free wifi is very good"

"The airport shuttle was great. It was there when we landed and got us to the hotel in 4 minutes. The property is beautiful. The room was very clean and very nice. The hotel staff is incredible. There did everything for us. The front desk ladies were soooo nice and helpful. The food service was great and so was the food."

"We were disappointed to learn there isn’t a beach. Pictures and descriptions state beaches however, you are not able to swim from this area and their beach is covered with debris and the sea walls falling apart. Room was clean. Staff very kind and helpful. The best part of the place, is the pool. The float up bar is nice. The buffet, especially the “burger” night was awful. There are not many options and most items are geared to their Indian guests. So much so, that there were nights where even the adults were getting chicken nuggets from the “kids offerings”. We tried to go to Tavu for dinner for our last night and were turned away because they said we needed a reservation. No one told us this, there was no sign, nothing was told to us at check-in. They had 6-7 tables open. When we questioned how people were supposed to know they had to make a reservation, they could not answer and instead offered us a table that didn’t have a reservation until 8 pm. We were there at 6 pm. She couldn’t make it make sense. They could definitely upgrade their flat pillows. We were glad we only booked 3 nights for our stay, as staying longer, would have been miserable with the food options."
