"Room with private external bathroom in this historic home that was like a living museum. Excellent value for money. Large, spacious with everything we needed for a good overnight stay. We feel privileged to have been able to stay here. We were also able to make use of a washing machine in the basement. Walking the Camino Torres this was an added advantage to our trip. "We loved the surroundings, the calm, the amazing view and the dedicated staff. We enjoyed the wine tasting and the amazing building where it took place. Breakfast and diners were gourmet treats. La Quinta is close to Pinhao, were we took a boat to navigate through the Douro with the most relaxing time. The Museu Coa is in the area and worth visiting. Thgere are many more places to visit nearby."

"Casa da Real Companhia was not what we expected, in any kind of way. Considering the fact that we stayed at a lot of local b&bs in the neighboring area, this was by far the worst experience. Their pictures does not capture the reality of the hotel and it’s location to the nearby surroundings. It is at the foot of very large apartment-building complexes.
