"My stay did not include breakfast, and we chose not to get one at the hotel. The property is within steps of Coop and Migros, and just across the Tasch Terminal. Our room had access to an expansive deck overlooking a hill. On check in day we were told the room was not ready at 1500, but that it would be in "ten minutes." Nobody circled back on us on the tenth minute; we had to call personnel to check on the room since it's been more than ten minutes and we have not heard from anybody. Personnel...

"Lovely stay overall. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the balcony view was fantastic. Hard to beat, honestly. The location is very convenient, especially for getting to Oeschinensee. A few things kept it from being perfect. The breakfast was fine but not memorable, and the scrambled eggs in particular were disappointing. The waitress in the breakfast room also wasn't the friendliest. Another issue was housekeeping. Someone knocked at 10:40am, twenty minutes before checkout, and...

"We finally found a hotel in Switzerland with air conditioning...it was very much needed after a long day of hiking. All of the staff we had contact with were exceptionally friendly. The hotel is very well located in a lovely pedestrian only part of town surrounded by great restaurants, easy walk from the train station. We loved the view from our balcony. The honesty bar was an added bonus and breakfast was the best we had in Switzerland. I would go out of my way to stay in this hotel again."
