"Great hotel - but much further away from SJO than I realized. This is definitely off the beaten path, but it was a great way to kick off my vacation after arriving in the middle of the night. Beautiful grounds filled with mango trees and wildlife to walk off a great breakfast prepared by the hotel."

"Beautiful oasis in the city. The perfect place to spend a night before our early morning flight. The owner was so friendly and kind. She helped us get a taxi to the airport and even noticed we had a surfboard with us and arranged for us to get a bigger vehicle to make sure it fit. We highly recommend this place!"

The grounds of the property are beautiful and interesting with lots of birds and butterflies (note there is some small construction going on at the moment but this didn’t affect us). It was a relaxing and peaceful place for a few days with excellent hiking nearby to the waterfalls and river swimming pools.
