We were only there for one night for a wedding so didn’t see much but the Swan Hotel was perfect for our purpose.

Lovely 4 night stay, very dog friendly and they even upgraded our room. Breakfast was fantastic, absolutely will stay here again as it’s a good gateway for the part of Cornwall we love the best. The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows. Area covers market town, villages in the countryside and by the sea , narrow roads and cliff top walks and some of the best beach sea in the world depending on where you stay.
Nice little town close to beaches and countryside with good amenities. Bike hire for the Camel Trail to Padstow recommend!
We traveled around Padstow and the beaches around, not Wadebridge. The beaches around Padstow are excellent for families.
