"The hotel was in a great location and had a nice room. We did experience cold showers often while there. The bar was good but the restaurant had issues and were not the best at accommodating guests. Bikes that could be borrowed were very limited and had to get there early to get one. Able to walk to most locations or drive. "

"The room was clean you could smell the bleach, however the paint was peeling off the ceiling over the table, over the bed and over by the kitchen sink. Plus we are older adults and they gave us a third floor room and trying to pack 2 40 plus pound suitcases up that many stairs was ridiculous. The staff was nice, parking was ok. The toilet plugged up for no reason and for coincidence they happen to have 2 plungers under the bathroom sink. The hot water took about 5 to 10 minutes to get hot. We...

"It’s a beautiful open hotel but starting to show its age. The handle to our bathroom door fell off twice while we were there. It made it difficult to get out of the bathroom. After they put it back on a 2nd time we didn’t bother to ask them again when it fell off. The pillows were not great but we didn’t expect them to be. Overall the staff is great and it was clean. The laundry room needed attention but we left quickly after we did our load and never used it again. "

"When we arrived, the front desk took over 30 minutes to get us checked in. Other guests were coming in and asking why they couldn't connect to the wifi. While in line, we found out that the bar and restaurant were not open. We went to our room and it was run down and had an odor. I asked to check out so we could find another hotel. They eventually allowed us to change hotels. I would not recommended this hotel. "

"Pool is dirty and very cold! No heater. Room air conditioner was off from 2am to 5am. Parking is far and you need to pay for It. you wanna valet? Additional charge plus tip. I was about not to mention all of this but they did not let us do late check out. Not even 1/2 hour. We stayed for 6 nights and our room was only clean once. Very disappointed! Never again to this hotel. "

"Do not expect a hotel! KPH is a low budget motel (their words, not mine!) for a price you can rent an actual hotel room in Palo Alto, CA. The room advertised as “Standard Studio, Mountain View”, priced at about $170 on Expedia, has no mountain view, and is tiny. Shower and toilet are tiny and both are basic at best. "We've been here before and returned because we like it's location, amenities (some extras), good room, staff, and price. It's like an upscale 70's motel but with good breakfast, use of free beach towels (and chairs & snorkel gear), and great location for visiting the Canyon, Poipu Beach (to see lots of green turtles & munk seals), and boat ride from Port Allen to see the Napali Coast and snorkel enroute - all IF you have a car!"

"great view, nice to have two rooms plus a balcony. small kitchenette added bonus. the pool area is huge with many places to lounge and enjoy the day. the onsite restaurant was delicious. if you want to be in the middle of the island, this is a great option. "
