"Kitchenette helped us on our trip. Property was excellent for what it was for. Pools were great. Visitors were friendly. Staff was great but I had to remind a staff member that we did not get our complimentary wine at the beginning of check in. Overall, it was great."

"The resort is self is old, but the location is awesome and most of the people that work. There are very friendly except for one gentleman who is extremely rude. They really need to have their rooms a little bit cleaner."

"Our 4 day / 3 night anniversary stay at the Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort was extremely disappointing from start to finish. On our very first morning, we woke up to a flooded hotel room. Our clothes, luggage, and personal belongings were soaked. Instead of immediately helping resolve the issue, the staff gave us a hard time when we requested assistance getting our clothes and luggage dried. We were promised a new room right away, yet it took nearly 8 hours before we were finally moved....

"They were very accommodating. We needed a ground floor room because we were traveling with seniors with physical issues. Everything worked out great and having the full kitchen allowed us to work around some diet restrictions and save a little money. The hot tub jets didn't seem to be working but Everything else was great. Local shopping and the ocean is close."

"The oceanfront views are excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location is within walking distance of a few restaurants and shops. Comfy bed and nice balcony. Renovated bathroom with oversized tub but challenging entry/exit which could be resolved with handle assist. Great parking and awesome pool with waterfall. "

"Stick with the resort food, the restaurants (dukes and cafe portifino are not great, especially at their prices) but the sushi on site and the bar restaurant are very good. The pool is beautiful, great beach access, luau was fun. Check out gaylords rum tour, best part of the trip!"

"The first room that I paid for through Expedia and checked in was super hot they did not turn on the AC before we arrived so it was like 90°. We had three twin beds and one small AC. It was not acceptable so we asked if we can be moved. They moved us into a cottage which ended up costing 90 extra dollars for the night, but it had three small ACs And definitely was worth the upgrade for a better night sleep it was extremely hot and humid we was not able to get any of the amenities. "The Kauai Inn is quirky, eclectic, and all the other adjectives that describe a historic inn nestled next to the Lihue harbor. Drive past the warehouses, docks, storage tanks, and assorted industrial activity to a secluded garden spot housing rooms that look like they're relics from the 50s. Will you be impressed with the luxurious surroundings and comfort? No. But everything works, the place is clean, quiet, and well organized. The Wifi is nice, strong, and steady, and the view out the back...

"This is our second stay at this property and it is as beautiful as I remembered it. We were quite relaxed as soon as we checked in. We were in a studio with a Murphy bed but it wasn’t too bad as we were out most of the day. Our next door neighbors were quite noisy and we alerted the Front Desk and it was remedied quickly by putting up a sound barrier between the connecting doors.
