The location right on the lakefront was beautiful, with amazing views (the sunset and Mt Ruapehu were especially pretty) and easy access to walking tracks and town. "Very tastefully decorated and beautifully furnished accommodation with lovely views out over Lake Taupo. The suite had everything we needed and more. Lots of lovely little touches. Breakfast was excellent. Liz and Steve were very welcoming hosts and we would not hesitate to recommend Belle Vue. We shall certainly stay here again if we come back to Taupo."

Have done a rough paint job inside where you can see all the buts that they missed.
Cold tap made a dreadful noise when turned on...needed fixing.
Wardrobe to hang up things had no pole to hang anything on.
Never stayed in a place that was so rough.
