"It was a short stay, but the hotel was clean, well maintained, and the staff were very helpful, cheery and upbeat. As hot breakfasts go in this category of hotel, it was fine - again, well cared for and attended to. Would definitely stay again."

Within about two minutes of making the reservation, I caught my error and immediately called to cancel. The hotel was completely inflexible and charged me full price for a room that I wouldn't be able to stay in. It was an honest mistake that was caught quickly. I'll think again before staying at a Days Inn."

The room is large and spacious, clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and very helpful - plus the hotel itself is quite interesting to learn it's history and walk around viewing artifacts from the past. If you are staying in Amana, we highly recommend the Hotel Millwright, we wish all of our hotel stays were as nice as this one!!"

"This hotel has no staff on site. We stayed for two nights and received no housekeeping services at all. No exchange of towels, replenishment of supplies, the bed was unmade. Nothing. The furniture was beat-up. I would have expected 1/2 the price to stay there. I do not recommend it and I would never stay there myself again."

"The room was clean, getting there was another story. Outdoor garbage was overflowing, inside garbage was overflowing, there were empty beer bottles on the tables in the lobby and no one was around. The elevators were filthy, was worried what our room was going to look like. However, it was clean and cool, the bed was comfy. It is literally right next to interstate 80 so the traffic noise is real."
