"Check in was easy. Staff were helpful. The room was quite nice and the bathroom was clean and updated, with a flashy lovely anti fog mirror. The bed was comfortable (very high) but the pillows were all over-stuffed- not a selection of flatter and fluffier. The heater/cooler is the old fashioned type that rumbles, loud+++. "Breakfast was amazing, rooms were clean and spacious. Location was great to get to Halifax activities. We rented a car so the drive was not hard or far to get to the waterfront. Would definitely stay again. Great value for price."

"No air conditioning, which really wasn’t all that bad since we could open the window. The mini fridge just froze everything even on the lowest setting. TV did not work even after asking about it. The insulation in the building must be ancient because we heard everyone all the time coming and going above us and beside us. The room was clean. Wouldn’t stay again because of the amount of noise. Didn’t sleep for 2 nights."
