"I am utterly disgusted that this place is even still open, arrived at 7:50pm and told we had to find food elsewhere as kitchen shuts at 8pm, then was told they were not aware we had a room booked and she would have to call owner to confirm! Said she would call us back while we found something to eat as his phone went to voicemail!!!!! We then get a call to say yes they have made a room up! I then asked if they were aware we had a full English breakfast the next morning… again no they didn’t!!...

"We had a wonderful stay at The Maltings and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. From the moment we arrived, every single member of staff – from reception through to the bar and restaurant teams – was exceptionally friendly, warm and welcoming. "Great bar area with good beers and nice staff. Lovely room (though bed a bit softer than I’d really like), plenty of space & spotless. Bathroom - large so would benefit from a small table or shelf for putting your washbag on. Small bottle of welcome homemade rhubarb vodka supplied in the room which was much appreciated! Easy free parking. Dinner was excellent and our server, Annie, was fabulous. We both had the beef burger which was a fabulous lump of meat. Highly recommended. "
