"Location was convenient, good transport links into the centre of Oxford and hotel was cheaper in cost than the more centrally located ones. Room was compact, okay for a few nights but may have been more of an issue if staying for longer. No chair or table, no tea/coffee making facilities. The only bin was located in shower room. Bed was comfortable but the room was far too hot even with the air con on. Window didn't open and air con too far away from the bed to make it effective. Made for an uncomfortable couple of nights sleep unfortunately. Shower room was perfectly functional if quite small. A separate hand towel or hair towel would have been appreciated. Overall it was a cheap hotel that was quite good value for money, just a few tweaks and it could have been excellent. "

"Room was very tired and poorly maintained. Dirty bathroom inner door handle area very off putting. The unexplained and off hand apology after fire alarm (false alarm) went off after 10:30pm was not okay. Overall would not stay here again. Overpriced, under-delivered."

"Sadly the room was not great. Horrible cheap very uncomfortable mattress on a wooden bed that everything we walked near it we bashed our knee on. Room small. Used the wardrobe and ripped a good linen shirt because the door handle was fitter with a screws going all the way through and sticking out the back to far. Bathroom appalling. Mouldy shower curtains and due to it being a disabled one there was no room to stand and shower without bashing yourself on all the handles and chair. Totally flooded floor everytime we used it. Wet feet going to the loo at night then! Shame as it is in a perfect position to enjoy oxford. Sadly not the best 35th wedding anniversary stay. But Oxford is fab"

"This Premier Inn is in a great location - directly opposite an entrance to Westgate shopping centre, and a few minutes walk to many local attractions. Hotel lobby was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was generally clean. Bathroom needed a little more attention - walk-in shower is in need of thorough cleaning. Bed was comfortable, but the A/C kept switching itself off leading to me overheating a few times during the night as the room heated up quickly. Breakfast was good quality. The male member of staff managing the breakfast area on May 1st was really helpful and pleasant. He provided me with the gluten free menu and offered to have the kitchen prepare something separately to order. I would recommend this location."

"Great hotel in a convenient and busy area of the city centre. Very comfortable, attentive staff, great amenities and the shower was SO nice. I was visiting during a really busy time in Oxford, so my room was street facing and I could hear some noise from the street outside, but that's to be expected in this area. Don't let it keep you from booking here, you will be so pleased that you did."

"This is a wonderful, quaint, little hotel. The hallways and stair cases are tiny, but the rooms are plenty spacious. I don't think there's a lift so be mindful if you have large luggage. The food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was amazing. I would definitely stay again. "
