"If you need a cheap flop for the evening this will be okay. Although the room is clean the room next door had a tick walking around in the bathroom. Our main issue were a bunch of dudes hanging out two rooms down with their radio blasting and drinking and talking loudly late at night outside our door. Keep in mind this is just a motel not a hotel and if you don't mind staying here and Saving $500 a night in State College it's okay."

"Hotel was fine for the price. While outwardly attractive, the walls and ceiling were not sufficiently sturdy to prevent noise from rooms above and on the side from clearly reaching our room. The occupant above us was performing calisthenics or some other physical activity and we heard it all until after midnight. "The Carnegie House is an amazing place to stay! Very clean! The staff were very friendly and professional! Felt like royalty during our stay…from the decor of the room, the bathrobes, and the comfort of the bed and pillows! Will definitely stay again while in State College!"

"The property was clean and modern. Would help to have better road signage and road entrance markings. The road side is very loud with trucks using brake retarders early in the morning. Should not be allowed in small towns and rural areas in my view. It is nice to have a clean and well maintained hotel for frequent family visits."

"Cramer Family Mountain Inn was the perfect stay for me to visit my niece at PSU during graduation weekend. The Inn was easy to find, check in was a breeze. It was quiet, the mattress was lovely and the place was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend the Cramer Family Mountain Inn and I hope to be back in the future. "
