"Clean rooms friendly staff"

"Loved the entrance and exit doors close to the rooms, instead of having our elderly family members walk far to get to their room. It’s a BIG hotel! The executive suite was perfect."

"The property was fairly clean, but terribly uncomfortable. The bed is so low to the floor felt like sleeping on a rug...There was one chair and it was so tiny a grown adult could barely fit in it.. great location as far as close to walkable sites... if you're 50 or older Don't even think about it."

"Just a few feet from the lake. Good location in Traverse City. The room doors do not close easily, need a good push to shut the door. Breakfast choices were adequate."

"The room was filthy, it smelled liked a smokers room and mold combined. The first room we were given still had food trash on the ground, and the drain would drain in the shower. The second room we were given still had food and crumbs on the ground, and around the beds. There was a pair of underwear between the mattress and wall, somebodies vape and a face mask. There were dust bunnies piled up under all the furniture, and if you put food in your fridge and turned the lights out to go to sleep...

"Great water facing locatiom close to the docks, main Street shops and restaurants. Facility also has a couple to fire pits and lounge chair seating in front of the property. They also have a bike rental right outside the property."

"Everything Was all in one place parking restaurants, casino especially for elderly who have difficulty with walking. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and made our weekend getaway special."

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Greektown area was safe and welcoming. Dunkin’ Doughnut was a good choice for breakfast. Casino staff and bartenders were nice and they didn’t mind being asked about anything you didn’t understand."

"My husband and I stayed at the Bavarian Inn for three nights. We should have researched more because we didn’t realize it was also a water park and it was more of a family place to stay. The only issue we had was with the cleaning of our room. It was cleaned 2 of the 3 days due to our room being the last to be cleaned of the day. We did leave our room for hours at a time, but when we returned it still wasn’t clean , so we had to leave again and wait. The second day they must have run out of time...

"It was just for a budget 2 night stay at first, but the hotel was surprisingly good. I guess partly because it has an industrial/ contemporary style design, everything is so easy to clean and so it’s clean! They have a gated parking for guests which is only assessable with room key cards, it gives a sense of safety that my car is secured while parking on site. The breakfast was okay, but the cappuccino was meh… staffs are friendly and helpful. The only problem is it’s about 20mins walk from...

"We really appreciated having our bags taken there. They allowed us to use their bathroom to change before our lunch at the Grand Hotel. They also let us know our room was available early. The porter at the ferry was very friendly and helpful, but the woman working the front desk when we arrived was rude."

"Clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff. Wish more of the bars and restaurants were open, went on weekday. Overall, nice property with plenty of parking. Didn't make it to the pool, but we walked to see and looks like a fun spot to hang out with an outside bar. We are not gamblers, stayed because the price was good for a last minute trip to New Buffalo, but we did a few slots, casinos itself is a good size, lots of machines and tables. Would definitely recommend and even stay...
