"I was in Vicksburg for a week, on business. The year before, I stayed in a hotel on the other side of town. This time, I wanted to be downtown, making the flavor of the town more accessible. "Nice old place in decent shape. The breakfasts were wonderful. Not having someone there, other than the lady who came in to cook and serve breakfast, was somewhat of a negative, as we would have liked to ask questions, especially in the evenings, about places to eat and things to do. Also, a bathtub/shower, with no really hard-mounted grab bars, is not really good for seniors"

"Several of us were traveling together and booked well in advance. They overbooked and did not make us aware until check-in and we had an eight night stay planned with children. It was the most inconvenient experience ever. The manager left a young new worker by herself to deal with this issue on one of their busiest check-in days of the year. She called and he talked with me and he was so rude. Then he proceeded to tell me that the only way that a room can be guaranteed there is if we were to...

"The linens were dirty, the tub was stained, the towels and wash cloths were stained brown, there was a greasy substance on the vanity. The bed comforter was stained or dirty, the bathroom door was broken, the baseboards were stained or dirty, the carpet was so dirty my socks became dirty after a few steps."

"Upon arrival the bathroom was dirty and the second night of my stay the water went out on their side of city and didn’t accommodate nobody."
