"Don't get me wrong. Staff was very friendly, Room was clean and food was good. Unfortunaetly when is -1 outside and you turning heating off from 8pm for over the night. Room temp droping to 12 degrees. When I arrived heating was on but not, when ive returned from meal. I'was shivering all night and couldnt sleep. No one there at night to complain. Cannot recommend you guys, no matter how cheap or expensive it was, you should look after customers. "

"The Beach Hotel is a social enterprise run by the YMCA as an apprenticeship scheme. In light of this we had quite modest expectations for our stay. But these were misplaced - the hotel is spotlessly clean, and run by professional, welcoming staff. The occasion was a large family reunion, and the restaurant served us all with a good simple dinner in an efficient and timely way. Service was excellent. "The room was lovely and quirky old fashioned with original features. Bathroom nice and clean staff were so polite and helpful. Only issue was tv was set with a reminder to change channel spoke to staff they thought it was rectified but happened for second night not an issue as stay was relaxing and enjoyable. "

Lovely little touches like earplugs (yes the church clock chimes through the night, I didn’t hear it but my husband did), make up remover pads and shower caps. Lovely breakfast cooked to order. Super friendly people, and the communal fridge under the stairs with milk and juices to help yourself to is a really thoughtful addition. "
