"Always live the diner, but cannot say the same for the tvs - they rarely respond to their remotes and this time a member of staff have to come and power off the wall switch (you can’t risk it yourself in case the tv crashes to the floor)."

"The historic building is simply beautiful, very charming, and well-restored. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was well-equipped. The service in the restaurant was very friendly but extremely slow. The food was rather mediocre. Breakfast was actually quite poor. There was barely a tablespoon of yogurt with the granola, and the toast was cold and hard like rusk. The location itself is beautiful."

"We were given a complementary upgrade on our room and late checkout. The breakfast was lovely with a gorgeous view from the restaurant. The member of staff who checked us in was extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Located just outside of Marlow but easy to order an Uber / Bolt which cost approximately £8"

There was a (small) lift but even with a lift we still had few steps up & down to get to our room so not a problem for us but less abled/non ambient may not have been able to enjoy their stay. "A truly delightful hotel in a convenient location with excellent staff and facilities. Impossible to fault overall - 2 tips… dont park under the trees in front of the building. I dont know what the birds eat, but they eat A LOT of it. Then theres steps….pack light, you’ll be hauling your luggage up a LOT of steps :-) - its a 13th century manor house, lifts werent a “thing” !"
