"Very spacious room, great welcome and all clean. The breakfast was Hampton top of the line. My only issue is if it's Hilton mandate not to have a daily housekeeping tidy-up, that needs to be stated clearly up front, actually at booking. I'd rather book two single nights than have to make my own beds and tidy up while on holiday. That's not a holiday."

"The Graduate is very charming and I had a special room with a view and a fireplace! But it comes with all the charm of a boutique hotel, like a slow elevator (and only one small elevator), so don't expect the perks and efficiency of a franchise hotel. But I still prefer it and it feels more like home. I'll stay there again when I'm in Evanston!"

"The Glen Club is always my go to hotel when staying near Chicago. I love its more private location because it feels like a quiet retreat away from the city. Every time we have stayed there it has been peaceful, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. With only 21 rooms, the boutique atmosphere makes it feel even more exclusive and relaxing. The hotel is consistently spotless, beautifully updated, and very well maintained, and the onsite restaurant is excellent. The only things I would love to see...
