This is the second time I have stayed there in last couple of mths, lovely suite we stayed in, lovely pub and good breakfast. Will definitely stay there again.

Stayed here only a couple of months ago this time in a different suite with a lounge, kitchenette and dining area separate to the bedroom and ensuite bathroom. Warnly welcomed and shown to my room and helped out with cooling my drinks. Plenty of parking available. Extremely comfortable bed leading to a great night's sleep and a cooked breakfast with good quality, locally sourced items setting me up for the day ahead.

We booked at the last minute this week and had a lovely stay, dog friendly and everything you needed for an overnight stay. Great breakfast and coffee. Thankyou the Brooks Family and Jacks ;)

There is easy parking. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. There was a good choice of food - the monkfish wrapped in Parma ham was delicious. Breakfast was also good and the coffee was excellent. It was very warm when I visited and the fan in the room was a welcome addition.

They were fab with our children's multiple food allergies, the breakfasts were fantastic. We also ate in the restaurant twice which was lovely. All the staff were super friendly. We had a really nice stay

Great stay for a family four - breakfast was excellent and the space in the bedroom was great - separate room with bunk beds and a single bed, with a living room and full double in. Only problem was the heat but not a lot anyone could do about that!

Lovely old country inn setting. Our room was beautiful and we had the added bonus of a separate kitchen and lounge. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was disappointing, but our breakfast the next morning was delicious.

We stayed in the Monument room which affords a view of the Wellington Monument (if you know where to look) - it's a spacious suite with quality furniture and fittings. Breakfast was excellent. The vegetarian option includes "sausages" but these were not the fake meat type but more like vegetable croquettes which we thought were much nicer. All the other items were cooked beautifully.

Yeah, a really nice country pub. Met up with my daughter there for a night as was in the middle of us. Really friendly staff, and welcoming locals. Dogs allowed in bedrooms. Very comfy bed. Lovely dinner. Nice dog walk across the road. She left too early for breakfast and I got up too late but am sure it would have been lovely!

The Inn is located in the pretty village of Langford Budville in Devon. I was warmly greeted and shown to my room which had a bedroom with a single and bunk beds, a main room with a 3 piece suite and large tv, a nicely decorated bathroom and decent king-sized bed. Despite the 33 degree weather, I had a great walk around some of the country roads. Also despite the weather, the room remained nice and cool and continued to be that way with help from a fantastic bladeless tower fan. The shower was invigorating and the night's sleep uninterrupted. Breakfast was delicious with obviously locally sourced ingredients which were quality. To have all of this for an overnight stay costing under £100 was a really good deal.

Great place to stay adjacent to M5

Excellent stay at the Martlet Inn,superb food comfortable room and bed,excellent choice of evening meal and breakfast,would not hestitate in staying there in the future and would recommend anyone passing on the M5 to break 5heir journey and stop here.
